Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and highly self motivated person to fill this role.
Applicants are likely to come from a civil/structural engineering background, preferably with some geotechnical training/appreciation and should be capable of applying an analytical approach to the assessment of project requirements
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be required to:-
* Assess and deal with technical issues where the project requirements are beyond the capabilities of Estimators or Contract Engineers. Prepare and submit robust design documentaton to substantiate the Companys proposals to clients, which will generally involve the use of a standard range of products.
* Assist in training and developing colleagues in more advanced aspects of geotechnical and structural design of bearing piles and sheet pile retaining walls.
* Review and discuss technical issues / queries including attendance at meetings as required, liaise with potential clients and their professional teams at any stage of the Enquiry or Contract.
* Develop and maintain a commercial awareness of the Companys business aims and targets.
Package
The position is based at our Newark Office from which the company operates throughout the United Kingdom.
The package will include salary commensurate with the candidates competence, a profit related bonus scheme, fully expensed company car, pension contributions, private medical and life cover and a generous holiday allowance including a long weekend scheme, all in accordance with our companys standard staff conditions.
